Tutor Requirements
- Do not steal/poach any of our students! The customer pays us for the service, then we pay the tutor for providing that service.
- Have patience to deal with students of different learning styles
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Know when to be authoritive and when to be compassionate
- Have a proficient knowledge of the subject with the ability to explain the topics in different ways and without always having to rely upon resources
- Be an intelligent, educated, dynamic, and honest person with the ability to help students learn in an efficient and effective manner
- Have reliable/private transportation to commute to the student
- Always be friendly and have a positive attitude with the ability to relate to students, parents, and teachers
- Have access to a computer and the internet to know when services are requested and to log tutoring sessions when provided
- Never have been convicted of a major felony, burglary, violent or sexual crime
- Agree to our TUTOR TERMS OF SERVICE Agreement
- Be dependable and punctual to scheduled meeting and at returning messages
- Be legally able to work in the United States and agree to a background check
- Communicate clearly and utilize the appropriate choice of words when speaking with the student, parent, teacher, and company
How To Apply
- Look through our TUTOR FAQS PAGE so you know how this service works, students are assigned, tutor compensations, taxes, etc
- SIGN UP to create an account and indicate you want to be a tutor
- You will be forwarded to the TUTOR REGISTRATION page
- Use the many input pages to complete your profile
- Review your tutor profile to confirm it is as attractive as possible to a potential customer, then upload a picture to be added to your profile.
- Once complete, simply select the "Activate Profile on Tutor List" button on the profile to be included in search results and available for services. It is also possible to activate your profile on our other websites within our network by visiting your profile on the other sites, specifying your payrate, and selecting the Activate button.
