- Our history goes back to the late 1990's when our founder, Jupiter, began privately tutoring math students at San Diego State University. After many years in San Diego, he moved to Las Vegas and continued providing home tutoring for math, chemistry and physics students at UNLV and local high schools. What began as a side source of income soon turned into full time work, and eventually his schedule was so full he had to refer some of his closest friends who also tutored science and mathematics. In 2003, he turned it into a business and launched our first website, AwesomeTutors.com, to provide home tutoring for a wide variety of K-12 and college subjects. The following year we became 2trs.com LLC, then eventually converted that into our national brand, ATutors.org. Today we operate in many major cities, while continuing to provide the same high quality tutoring services for most all academic subjects, standardized tests, grade levels, and learning disabilities. We pride ourselves on personal service, good business ethics, and most importantly, a quality education for our students.

We provide one-on-one tutors for in-home tutoring, coming to meet you wherever and whenever is best for you while also saving you time, gas money, and the hassle of coordinating transportation for non-drivers. Payments are securely handled by your choice of Authorize.net, Google Checkout, or PayPal; all three are international leaders in online financial transactions, utilizing multiple layers of encryption to protect the sensitive data of our customers. All customers, clients, students, parents, and tutors can be assured that their privacy and security is very important to us. We will never sell or release personal information to anyone other than the assigned tutor/student that both parties have chosen and confirmed.
